100km for Parkinson’s Disease
On the 26th of March 2025, I'll be taking on the challenge of running the buffalostampede_au - an ultra-endurance race spanning 101km with 5,000 meters of elevation gain. I'm using this run to raising awareness and funds for Parkinsons disease. Parkinsons is the second most common neurological disease after dementia, affecting approximately 200,000 Australians. It's a devastating condition that profoundly impacts not only those living with it but also their families and loved ones. My family experienced this first-hand through my Nonna, Maria Dimasi, who battled Parkinsons for 25 years before her passing. Sadly, I never had the chance to see her in full health, but through my mums recent stories I've come to understand just how remarkable a woman she was. She was a battler who I now draw strength from when tackling training or anything challenging in life. Any donations, no matter how big or small, are hugely appreciated and going to an amazing cause.

Help Wings4Kidz Soar! For families in regional areas, the road to medical treatment for a sick child is often long, lonely, and exhausting. Whether it's a child in need of heart treatment, cancer care, or specialized surgery, these families face the overwhelming challenge of traveling hours—sometimes days—just to reach the medical care their child desperately needs This year, we will be hitting the road on a Postie Bike to raise funds for Wings4Kidz. Wings4Kidz is registered charity dedicated to lessening the burdens of travel for these families, providing free air and ground transportation to ensure children get to their treatments safely, quickly, and with their loved ones by their side. A fully operational aircraft, piloted by highly skilled and dedicated volunteers, helps these families by turning long, grueling journeys into much shorter, less stressful flights. What used to take days of travel now takes only hours, if that, allowing families to focus on what really matters—being together and helping their child heal. But Wings4Kidz can’t do this without your support. Each flight represents a lifeline for a family going through one of the toughest times of their lives. The money raised through events such as the 2025 Never Late Fe-Mail Postie Bike Ride goes directly to keeping planes in the air—ensuring that they can continue to provide this essential service, free of charge, to families who need it the most. Every cent makes a difference. Together, we can make the long road to recovery a little shorter for families facing unimaginable challenges. Every mile flown brings hope. Every donation is a step toward healing. Thank you for helping Wings4Kidz soar. 🕊️ - Wingz, Wheelz & Wine (Beck, Jenny, Cassie, Kristie, Ellen, Georgia and Lily)

My daily struggle with mental health is a solitary battle that demands immense strength and resilience. To continue to confront this challenge, I've chosen to embark on a monumental journey: riding my BMX from Cairns to Perth. This ambitious goal is not only a personal test but also an opportunity to seek strength and hope for myself and others. Through this journey, I aim to connect with others, raise awareness for mental health, and advocate for suicide prevention. Partnering with the R U OK? initiative feels like a natural fit, as their approach to staying connected with those experiencing mental illness and having tough conversations aligns perfectly with why I am taking on this challenge. CARE THROUGH CONNECTION THANKYOU , even the notion of generocity is appreciated sincerly WEEXY R U OK? is a harm prevention charity that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times in their lives. Their work focuses on building the motivation, confidence and skills of people who can have a meaningful conversation with someone who is struggling with life and connect someone to appropriate support, long before they're in crisis. With your support R U OK? can r each more Australians, inspire regular, meaningful conversations every day of the year, and ultimately change lives So please support their work by donating to my CrowdRaiser, as I know they will appreciate every cent received. And I will be very grateful for your contribution too! Also, I would be very grateful for you to share the link to this CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. Jamie’s Walk for CETOP
Since 2001, Cranbrook School has supported various community assistance projects in Nepal and India through an organisation called CETOP (Cranbrook Explorers and Travellers Overseas Partnerships). CETOP is a volunteer teacher and parent initiative. Projects have included building a school for young children in Ladakh in Northern India that provides the only formal education on offer in remote villages in the area. Cranbrook Junior School (K-6) has been involved in collecting supplies for local schools, funding teacher training programs, building projects and helping to set up dental clinics in Nepal for over ten years. I am part of a group of Year 6 students at Cranbrook Junior School who are travelling to Nepal in April 2025 with parents and teachers as part of a CETOP trip. Our purpose is to help improve the education and health conditions for remote local communities in the Rasuwa District in the Langtang region of Nepal. We will be trekking for several days visiting schools, handing over funds and delivering resources including dental products, school equipment etc. CETOP encourages Cranbrook students to actively participate in fundraising activities exposing them to ‘hand to hand’ giving. I am taking part in a sponsored walk with my friends and our parents to raise funds for CETOP in February 2025. We will be walking 20km on the Bondi-Manly coastal route and hope that friends and family will help by sponsoring us! Thank you Jamie and Michael

On Saturday 25th January, I shaved my hair in support of my Big Cousin who was diagnosed with a rare Endometrial Cancer late last year (2024). In her honour, I am raising funds for Cherish Women's Cancer Foundation. Their mission is to raise awareness and fund clinical research that results in treatments for women with gynaecological cancer. Each year over 6,700 Australian women and girls are diagnosed with gynaecological cancer and this number is increasing each year. Almost a third will not survive their disease. Please support this Cherish Women's Cancer Foundations hard work by donating to my CrowdRaiser – we would both be very grateful for your contribution as it is the most effective way to improve the odds of survival. Please share this link with your friends and family – together we can help fund clinical research that results in kinder treatments for women like my Cousin, and now, families like mine into the future. Thank you, Luma Corina

I am raising funds for Fraser Coast Hospice because they provide a much needed fee-free inpatient palliative care service in our community for people over the age of 18 who have a terminal illness. The difference they have made to so many clients and their families is just extraordinary and there are many people who will benefit from the service into the future. But to be able to continue to provide this service, Fraser Coast Hospice needs our communities help to raise operational funds. I've put my hand up to be hung out to dry in a cherry picker at Hoist Ya Boss 2025 on Friday 14th March 2025 at Scarness Park (across from the Beach House Hotel). I need to raise a minimum of $3000 to get down, so please support Fraser Coast Hospice by donating to my CrowdRaiser, as I don't want to be left high and dry! I know Fraser Coast Hospice will appreciate your support, and I will too! Also, I would be very grateful for you to share the link to this CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. Auntie Vickie Roach
Hi all, Flat Out and Homes not Prisons are raising funds to support Auntie Vickie Roach - proud Yuin woman and respected elder in the movement against the prison industrial complex in Australia. After decades of writing and campaigning Auntie Vickie is now in palliative care for serious respiratory and other health issues. If you have worked with Auntie Vicklie or read her work or heard her speak you will understand how important it is that we care for her now. You can hear Vickie talk about her life and work here: In and out of strife: Vickie Roach's turbulent life Please consider a regular weekly or monthly donation to help us create some safety, stability and comfort for Aunt. Dogs for Defence Veterans - Munda Biddi 1000km Ride
In April 2025, I will be riding the Munda Biddi in southwest WA, the longest point to point off-road bike trail in the world, covering over 1000km in 10 days of solo riding. As a proud Australian Defence Force member of 18+ years and a dog lover, I am hoping to use this physical challenge as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Defence Community Dogs. Defence Community Dogs train rescued and rehomed dogs with low security inmates (under the guide of professional dog trainers) to become assistance dogs, and gift them at no cost, to ADF Veterans suffering from depressive, mood and anxiety conditions, including PTSD. Share this CrowdRaiser page to help raise awareness amongst your friends and family. The more people who can help the better!
