Run to Parliament – All Eyes on Epilepsy
💜 WHY THIS MATTERS
Every day, Australians living with epilepsy face challenges that are often unseen, misunderstood, and under-supported.
For many families, epilepsy means living with uncertainty. Managing seizures, navigating treatments that don’t always work, and carrying the emotional, physical, and financial weight that comes with it.
Right now, there is a rare opportunity to create change.
A national Senate Inquiry into Epilepsy in Australia is underway. Decisions made from this inquiry have the potential to shape the future of support, services, and understanding across the country.
But for real change to happen, these experiences need to be seen.
Heard.
Felt.
🏃 THE RUN
This May, Rafa Garcia will run approximately 325km from the Sydney Opera House to Parliament House in Canberra.
A multi-day endurance run.
To carry the voices of Australians living with epilepsy directly to the heart of government.
His planned arrival is 14 May, just before submissions to the inquiry close.
This is a moment to bring attention, urgency, and visibility to a cause that affects so many.

And the more visible this issue becomes, the harder it is to ignore the needs of the epilepsy community.
This is how awareness turns into action.
🟣 THIS IS AN UNDERDOG MOVEMENT
This campaign is built on community.
On families who show up every day.
On people who keep going, even when it’s hard.
On stories that deserve to be heard.
With the right support, this can become something much bigger than a run.
It can become a national moment.
