CETOP

Since 2001, Cranbrook School has supported various community assistance
projects in Nepal and India through an organisation called CETOP (Cranbrook
Explorers and Travellers Overseas Partnerships).

CETOP is a volunteer teacher and parent initiative. Projects have included building a school for young children in Ladakh in Northern India that provides the only formal education on offer in remote villages in the area. Cranbrook Junior School (K-6) has been involved in collecting supplies for local schools, funding teacher training programs, building projects and helping to set up dental clinics in Nepal for over ten years.

I am part of a group of Year 6 students at Cranbrook Junior School who are
travelling to Nepal in April 2025 with parents and teachers as part of a CETOP trip. Our purpose is to help improve the education and health conditions for remote local communities in the Rasuwa District in the Langtang region of Nepal. We will be trekking for several days visiting schools, handing over funds and delivering resources including dental products.

CETOP encourages Cranbrook students to actively participate in fundraising activities exposing them to ‘hand to hand’ giving. As a part of this, I am participating in a sponsored walk.  I am walking 20km on the Bondi to Manly coastal route and I hope to raise some funds to support this cause.

Thank you,

Also, I would be very grateful for you to share the link to this CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. The more people who can help the better!

Thank you
