I'm doing it again, paddling 100km overnight in the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic this year. Sure this is something I take on as a personal challenge, but it is also an opportunity to raise funds for a good cause.

The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic has been supporting Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation “Arrow” for over thirty years. Arrow exists to improve the quality of life for all people needing a bone marrow transplant. With nearly 20,000 Australians diagnosed with blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma every year and many more diagnosed with serious blood disorders, there is a large need for Arrow’s help. In fact, every 27 minutes in Australia someone will be diagnosed with a blood cancer and every year over 2,000 Australians will receive a life saving bone marrow transplant to cure their disease.
